Soccer Mix n Match

I wore these to a soccer game last night! San Jose Earthquakes vs New England Revolution. Unfortunately SJ lost 2-1. Booooooo! But I still enjoyed the game and was happy the rain let up up so I didn't have to watch the game shivering and wet. Walking away with a Chris Wondolowski autograph wasn't too bad either. Also we didn't pay a cent! Freeee tickets!

Thumb, ring, and pinky are decals with Winstonia plate 103. Base color is Wet n Wild Listening to Blue Reed
Index is the Adidas logo with the same WnW color. I remembered the logo and how to do it with striping tape from this post from the Nailasaurus. Middle finger is China Glaze - Running In Circles. Green for the soccer field!

Powder Perfect - Fog Is Rolling In (Swatch+Review)

Hey all! I have this lovely polish that Jacinta from Powder Perfect was so kind enough to send to me. I am a huge fan of her microglitter polishes and she popped this in with my recent order.

Click the jump, because it's a lengthier than normal post :)

Rainbow Gradient Stamping

I was in the mood for some nail art after a not so good day. I felt like a gradient but didn't have time for a base and multiple sponge layers. So of course I gravitated towards stamping. I wanted to try some more gradient stamping anyway, so I combined the two! I stamped using this flower design from MoYou Pro Plate 11.

My cuticles are rough. Been a tough week yall I'm sorry lol.

Square Hue: Fifth Avenue
Sally Hansen X-Treme Wear: Sunkissed
OPI: I Just Can't Copeacabana
OPI: Jade Is the New Black
Nails Inc: Baker's Street
Wet n Wild: Who Is Ultra Violet
Base: OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls

I hope you liked this! I enjoyed the look overall but wish I had picked a better stamp and tried to get the color transition more centered on the nail. It was actually hard picking colors! I really don't have a lot of range in shades in each of the rainbow colors. Must. Buy. More. Polish.

P.s my right hand is a gold polish. Like the gold at the end of a rainbow. ;)

Double Shamrock Accent + Rambling

Ah, happy Monday and St. Patrick's day. I of course don't celebrate because I am the farthest thing from Ireland ethnically speaking. And I bet they don't even celebrate anyway. Why are Americans weird that way? (looking at you too, Cinco de Mayo.) Anyhow... part of this nail/nail art addiction is using any holiday as an excuse for a color scheme. So I present to you a green water marble!

It could be better but I am still very pleased with the result. It was definitely better than last year's attempts. I am getting better at marbling! It becomes so much easier when you figure out the right "spreadable" polishes honestly. For this clover design I used Wet 'n Wild - Stand the Test of Lime and Essie - Going Incognito. The Essie has a really runny formula which helped I think.

The glitter accents are China Glaze Running In Circles, a gorgeous grass green shimmery polish. This is one of those greens that's an exception to my usual dislike towards the color. So pretty!

I loved the way my thumb and forefinger came out the most because it seemed like a teensy stem was coming out.

Cinderella hand was lookin pretty decent as well! I was too lazy to try to line up a shamrock on this hand so I accidentally did this instead. Happy accident indeed.

I  hope you enjoyed this look, and wear green today to avoid being pinched! I don't really have any green clothes soo this is my compromise. It was odd not doing my usual pose but as you can see in the third photo I have that random blob of polish. It dripped on there by accident right after I perfected that clover. #nailpolishproblems

One more thing. I made my nails a squoval shape! I won't keep it for long because I feel round suits me better but I really am enjoying this look as well.

Mani Swap!

Happy Saturday! Oh I have been waiting for the weekend... had a lovely week of midterms. A Saturday has never felt so good.

Anyway, I have these amazing mermaid nails that were part of a mani swap with my lovely friend Lauren.
She posted this design on Instagram and I knew I had to copy it. I don't know why I haven't done a gradient with these colors before, it's gorgeous! This post includes my solo shots so be sure to check out Lauren's blog and Instagram and what design of mine she chose to copy.

I used China Glaze - Highlight Of My Summer & Too Yacht To Handle, and the tips are Essie - In The Cabana. Stamping is done with Square Hue - Time Square

A little blurred out so you can enjoy all that holo glitter and stamping! The plate for the fish scales is Mash plate 39 and I definitely had a problem fitting it on my entire nail.
Hope you guys enjoyed this other stamping mani.

Quick Post: Jelly Sandwich

Sorry for such short posts this weekend! Not much time for art and also not much to say about these looks :)

The blue jelly polish is China Glaze - Ride the Waves. Two coats and one coat of Essie - Set In Stones in between. One more coat of Ride the Waves and HK Girl top coat completes this squishy sandwich look.

Purple Holo Blocks

Monday, Monday it was all I hoped it would be...

Well it is with this manicure. This is something I wore over the weekend to a friend's birthday dinner. Was there purple in my outfit? No. Doesn't stop me from using it! I was itching to do a color block (actually more triangle like I guess) and this is how it turned out.

The gorgeous nude holo base is BBN by Lacquer Lust. I now know why everyone dies to have this. It's an amazing nude with the slightest touch of holo. It was the perfect base for this. I then taped off random sections of nail and filled it in with A-England Sleeping Palace and Different Dimension Dueling Unicorns. The holo is strong in this one...

I also am going through a water mark font identity crisis. Excuse the inconsistencies while I find myself. I was pretty pleased with the way this turned out. Especially in the sun. Holo polishes never fail to brighten the mood. I hope you enjoyed this look!

Orchid Grid Stamping Decals

Hey all! Today I have a guest post over at Squeaky Nails
I drew inspiration from this photo on the shop NCLA Instagram. They are nail wraps you can get here and I was immediately in love with the color combo and pattern! I threw some pink in my design even though NCLA used purple tones.

Squeaky Nails is a Dutch blog run by the sweet Q. Make sure to head on over to her website for more details of how I got this look and be sure to check her out! She's got an indie collection worth oggling over, and she's always posting new fresh swatches!
